Li's Restaurant

Day 6 of our road trip — we found this Chinese restaurant on the map while heading to Twillingate and decided to give it a try. The restaurant has a clean and elegant atmosphere, the food came out quickly, and the taste was amazing. My kids kept saying how delicious everything was . We were so happy to enjoy the taste of home. If we pass by again, we’ll definitely come back!

Staying at Woolfrey’s pond camp site, we searched google map for local restaurants. Li’s came up on top based on review scores. This place is Very clean, well decorated with elegant taste. Menu contains both Chinese and Canadian dishes, as well as for kids. No wonder we saw quite a number of local people dine-in and take-out, which is a true indicator of a restaurant’s food and service quality. Food is delicious, very good Cantonese style and flavour, leaf tea (iron godish) compliments the dishes very well. Chatting with Carol the lady took our order, the owner / chef has been doing Cantonese cuisine for more than 40 years! For sure we will come back again next time coming to visit this area.

Huge fan. We moved and have not had Chinese food in over a year. The food was fantastic. The service was wonderful. We really enjoyed the decor as well. The string art is really cool. We got 2 beef and broccoli platers fried wantons to eat in, but it was so good we got a to go order of general tso's to go. The restaurant didn't know it was our 9th anniversary. But the vibe made it feel like they did. Awesome place. I'm not sure if the guy was the owner/ manager, but he was so friendly, and it felt like he knew everyone, even us. If you are looking for a good place to eat and enjoy your time, this is the place. I can't recommend it enough. My only regret is not taking a photo to post with the review. And maybe only getting one to go order.

Friendly & welcoming - and delicious food! The portions are more than gracious. Would recommend to any Lewisporte local, and everyone passing through! 10/10

This Chinese restaurant in Newfoundland is easily the best one I’ve been to. The server was very accommodating and made sure to accommodate our dietary restrictions. We ordered the veg rice noodles and the fried dish, and both were excellent.

Great decor, extremely clean. Awesome food, Cantonese chow mein, szechuan beef and Sinapore noodles were excellent as were the ribs(fall off the bone) and spring rolls. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Wasn't expecting this quality of Chinese food in Newfoundland .

Went to Li's for the first time after recommendations by a friend. This did not disappoint. It was phenomenal! Wilson and his staff were top notch and it is some of the best Chinese food I have had. Make it a point to go...you won't regret it!

Excellent service. This is our second time here. First time was takeout for 10 people. Food was prepared quickly very tasty. This time we ate in for two. Again service was excellent and food was delicious.
